Description

Data Science Week 2026, hosted by Purdue University Fort Wayne from November 30 to December 4, 2026, is an interdisciplinary event bringing together researchers, students, industry professionals, and the broader community to explore recent advances and applications in Data Science.

Now in its seventh edition, the event highlights the growing connections among mathematics, statistics, computer science, machine learning, and scientific computing, emphasizing the role of data-driven approaches in scientific discovery and real-world decision-making.

The 2026 program features three distinguished keynote speakers: J. Nathan Kutz (University of Washington and Autodesk Research), Lu Lu (Yale University), and George Haller (ETH Zurich). Their research spans scientific machine learning, data-driven dynamical systems, physics-informed neural networks, and nonlinear dynamics.

The event also includes interdisciplinary discussions involving academic and industry representatives, as well as opportunities for participants to contribute short presentations and posters through dedicated virtual spaces.

Registration is free and open to all interested participants. Registration and submissions of short talks and posters are due November 27, 2026.
