Description
The conference aims to bring together India's research community in hyperbolic conservation laws with leading international experts, strengthen collaborations, and expose students and early-career researchers to current developments in the field. Hyperbolic conservation laws provide the mathematical framework for modelling phenomena such as wave propagation in fluid dynamics, traffic and crowd flow, geophysical hazards, and environmental and industrial applications, while machine learning-based approaches further broaden the subject's reach. The conference will focus on four major themes: well-posedness and qualitative theory, numerical methods, machine learning-based algorithms, and industrial and multidisciplinary applications.
