The conference will feature two mini-courses, research talks, and an opportunity for the graduate students to present their work in a poster session, as well as a career panel. Through this conference, we hope that the graduate students and postdocs will see a broader spectrum of mathematics that are not necessarily available to them in their own institution, and we ultimately hope to build a strong community of number theorists and algebraic geometers in the Midwest.
