Description
Angelo Vistoli's work in Algebraic Geometry has been extremely influential. From his very first works about intersection theory on algebraic stacks to the more recent ones on the essential dimension, through important results in equivariant algebraic K-theory, Brauer groups and twisted stable maps, Angelo's view and enthusiasm have been a driving force to all the algebraic geometers that had the occasion of talking and collaborating with him.
We celebrate his 60th birthday in June 2018 in Pisa.
The conference will be 4-days long and it will be housed at the mathematics department of the University of Pisa.
