Description

The Harvard Math Department and the Center of Mathematical Sciences and Applications will host a minischool on nonlinear equations and their applications the weekend of December 3-4, 2016. The minischool will focus on major advances in the field of nonlinear PDEs and their applications in the last 30 years, and is aimed at graduate students and young researchers in PDE, geometry, mathematical physics and adjacent fields.

Confirmed speakers are:

Clifford Taubes (Harvard)

Valentino Tosatti (Northwestern)

Pengfei Guan (McGill)

Further speakers to be confirmed. Funding is available to offset the travel expenses of graduate students and young researchers.
